Hello. This is us.

Amanda and Taylor have each lived many lives in cities, small towns, and countless creative spaces. Now rooted in West Michigan, they collaborate to tell real stories with presence, warmth, and belonging at the center.

Many Lives Project is not just photography - it is a practice in noticing what is alive. A reminder that when people feel safe, art happens naturally.

This project honors ordinary magic and everyday tenderness, creating space for stories that might otherwise go unseen.

Taylor

Taylor recently put down roots in Southwest Michigan after living many lives in cities across the country. She’s worked her way through the worlds of restaurant management, bartending, food trucks, catering, and events - places where connection, dedication, and authenticity always come first.

These days, she’s creating a slower kind of magic. Between silversmithing, makeup artistry, and off-grid cabin life, Taylor is exploring what it means to live authentically and creatively in her healing era.

She’s a new cat mom, a poetic writer, and a kind human who

believes in curating an uplifting and safe space to express creative diversity.

She’s most at home at the jewelers’ bench, flame-lit and hands busy, turning raw metal and stone into a tangible token of light.

At Many Lives, she helps shape stories that welcome, notice, and nurture — quiet reminders that art and celebration of diversity belong everywhere.

Amanda

Amanda is a storyteller, interpreter, and beginning cattle farmer building a life that blends creativity, care, and connection.

Based in Holland, Michigan, she’s growing Unbuttoned Farms with her husband, a small regenerative experiment in community, animals, and art - alongside her sister-led project, Many Lives.

Her background weaves through American Sign Language interpreting, photography, writing, and somatic work, all grounded in a love of play, people, and the earth.

She’s most at home where stories, animals, and humans meet - camera in hand, boots in the pasture, heart wide open.

Amanda’s work invites others to slow down, notice beauty in the ordinary, and give back through creative generosity.
